Tips for loan application submissions

Today MyRate reviews some tips regarding the list of documents needed in order to apply for a loan.

Before sending the documents to your loan consultant, it will save much time if you check the following things.

•    Payslips

Make sure that payslips provided show the name of your employer, the pay period, your name and the year to date figures as well as your normal pay information. Also ensure that of the two payslips you provide, that the pay period on one of them is dated within the last 30 days

•    Group certificates

Some group certificates are sent to you as a one piece, folded envelope which, when opened, has the details on one side and your name on the other. Ensure that you provide a copy that has your name and details on the one copy.

    Certified Documents

If the person who certifies the copies of your documents is a police or postal officer, they do not necessarily have to provide their address and phone number. A badge number and station name, (if a police officer), or stamp and office name, (if a postal officer), will suffice.
